Problem
Bengali students at Chitkara University needed a simple digital space around shared identity, events, and campus context. A generic social page would not feel specific enough for that community.
What I Built
Bengali-Chitkarian is a React-based community website for Bengali students at Chitkara. The page presents the group, its story, and the reasons for joining in a focused student-facing experience.
Technical Decisions
I kept the implementation front-end focused so the project could stay fast, easy to deploy, and simple for students to access. The design centers the community message rather than heavy application mechanics.
Outcome
The project became a lightweight campus-community hub and a practical exercise in building a page for a specific audience rather than a generic portfolio demo.
